Today marks the beginning of my journey of my Portfolio Component 1. I am genuinely really excited after Ms. Acosta explained our process, and although I know it'll require a good amount of effort, I can't help but begin to get thrilled. But before I get started on my little rant, I think it's appropriate to introduce myself first.
My name is Bhumi, and I'm a Sophmore at West Broward High School. I would like to say I am a creative person, as most of my hobbies require creativity. I am an avid dancer, and I would say nothing fulfills me like dance does. However, I do have other hobbies. I enjoy creative writing, video gaming, filming, and many others.
My experience in Media Studies has been nothing but enjoyable. It's a simple class, but that doesn't mean it's easy. I've been blessed with a great teacher who explains things very well and makes assignments easy-to-follow. I look forward to the upcoming project and learning more about Media.
This portfolio process will most definitely be a learning experience for me. I believe I will gain not only knowledge, but also enjoyable moment's from this process.
I'm considering doing the Magazine for my project, and I will most likely be sticking with my decision. This is because I feel like I am better suited for the Magazine. Yes I have some experience with film, but I have exponentially more experience with digital design, especially considering I've literally made an entire workbook on Canva. I've been creating projects on Canva since I could, and I am also good with online design tools. Although I would love to be experimental and attempt a film opening, I feel like my background in design will help me earn a good grade on this project, and in the end that's what's most important.
Thank you so much for reading through my entire block of text, and I hope you enjoyed. I'm
looking forward to talking to you guys again, and I'll see you soon my wonderful audience 😘
